Law 4-69, the “Natural Death Act of 1981,” was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 4-204, which was referred to the Committee on Human Services. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on September 29, 1981, and October 13, 1981, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on November 9, 1981, it was assigned Act No. 4-115 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review.
